How to Play UNRAVEL
Clear the board by releasing every directional block through an open lane in an order that does not trap the pieces left behind.
- Scan the outside rows and columns first, and identify blocks that already point directly toward empty space beyond the board.
- Release one clear block, then inspect the new gap to see which neighbouring route has opened before choosing again.
- Continue working from open edges toward the dense center until every directional block has a safe line out.
Controls and Tips
Click a block with a mouse or tap it on a touchscreen. The selected block follows the direction printed on its face when its lane is clear.
- Begin with edge blocks whose entire route is visible.
- Compare legal moves by the amount of space they create.
- Do not queue clicks while a block is still moving.
- Reset early if the remaining lanes all point into one another.
