Begin with the silhouette

The outer outline tells you which arrows have a realistic path away from the group. Inspect corners and exposed faces first, looking for arrowheads that point into empty space rather than back through the shape.

A surface arrow is useful because its removal reveals information. Interior pieces may appear tempting, but their depth is harder to judge before the shell has opened.

Let every disappearance reveal the next layer

Remove one confirmed arrow and wait for the group to settle. Study the face that was underneath it and decide whether the new piece points outward or remains blocked deeper in the structure.

Rotate after a few removals instead of trusting one side. The safest route may be obvious from the opposite angle, and rotation prevents a hidden block from being mistaken for empty background.

• Corners often reveal more of the next layer than flat faces.
• Check the whole direction, not only the first gap.
• Stop rapid tapping as soon as the shape changes unexpectedly.

Keep the final core readable

As the group becomes smaller, rotate more deliberately. A compact core can overlap visually even when its pieces occupy different depths.

Choose the outermost confirmed arrow, remove it, and rebuild your mental picture. Repeating that cycle keeps the last few moves controlled rather than turning the finish into guesswork.
